Help Desk/Network Technician

Job Description
Synigent is seeking qualified candidates for a Help Desk/Network Technician permanent hire role for our client in metro Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota!

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Respond to and resolve IT Tech requests in timely manner
- Install, maintain, and support computer hardware and software (thin clients, laptops and desktop) on multiple platforms
- Set up new users
- Assists current users with password and account issues
- Setup/maintain peripheral devices needed by users (copiers, printers, scanners, etc.)
- Learn the door access control system to add new users and maintain existing users
- Provide on-going training and support to users
- Stay current on IT technology used at Innovize
- Continue personal development through periodic seminars and educational opportunities
- Maintain high availability of user applications
- Maintain IS documentation
Training/Education/Experience:
- 2 years of post-secondary schooling, or 1-year IT program, or comparable experience
- Experience with in Office/Windows/Windows server
- Experience with Active Directory, PC hardware, ancillary devices and network printers
- Basic understanding of network topologies (WIFI, VMware, Veeam, Routers, SAN, Security, Voip Phone, Cell Phones, Vlans)
