Job Duties:
- Supervising audit engagements by coordinating resources and timetables with various departments
- Performing sufficient reviews to ensure work contains relevant facts to support audit scope and conclusions
- Reviewing issues to ensure potential exposures are included, root causes are identified, and address those causes by developing recommendations
- Continuously maintains documentation and regulatory compliance
- Implements and maintains disaster recovery and back-up procedures
- Facilitates risk control self-assessments as needed
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
- 5+ years of auditing regulatory compliance experience, preferably with some experience in a supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of auditing concepts, principles and practices as applied to regulatory compliance within a financial institution
- In-depth knowledge of banking or financial institution rules, regulations and operations
