JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for procurement of composite materials, components, supplies and/or services for the company in accordance with standard operating procedures, contractual requirements, financial and savings targets, and all regulatory requirements. Responsible for strategy execution, change management, source selection, contract negotiations, supplier management, and conflict resolution throughout the supply chain.

Activities/Responsibilities
- the role is 50% tactical, 50% strategic
- Contract negotiations
- working with sourcing specialist
- help identify new ones for sourcing
- sourcing is national and international

Ideal Skills:
- Experience with the composite technologies - Hand layup, autoclave, oven, heated platen press, cut & fold, TFP (Tailored Fiber Placement) & RTM (Resin Transfer Molding)
- Experience as a buyer/sourcing agent in a build to print manufacturing environment
- Aerospace experience
- Located in DFW or willing to relocate

Acceptable Skills:
Must have both of these:
- 2+ years buyer experience in build to print manufacturing environment
- Strong experience sourcing and buying parts that have a very high cosmetic quality standard
- Located in DFW or willing to relocate
Must also have some combination of these:
- Aerospace experience
- SAP experience
- BA or MBA in Supply Chain or related field
- Experience buying single source parts
- German, Spanish, Turkish or Thai language skills
