Synigent Technologies is seeking a Director of Warehouse Automation for one of our clients based in Camden, NJ
This position works collaboratively with leadership to assist with and implement the company’s automation strategy. The role oversees all warehouse automation technology development, integration, and support.

- Technical oversight on end-to-end systems integration (PLC-WCS-WMS) for all automation solutions.
- Plan and lead the execution of new warehouse automation integration solutions.
- Develop a technology strategy and roadmap to design and implement solutions that support automation strategy.
- Built highly scalable technology capabilities to implement and support automation solutions on time and under budget.
- Justify ROI and work with financial teams on business cases for all automation and systems developed through a roadmap on approved capital programs.
- Assist with decision-making related to vendor selection, system design, mapping, development, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and project management.
- Travel to multiple warehouses for design, implementation, and support.
- 10+ years of experience with the design and implementation of warehouse automation solutions –ASRS, Layer pick, Turrets, AGVs, Conveyors, and Pick-to-belt.
- 10+ years of technology management and leadership experience
- 20+ years of IT systems design, architecture, development, integration, and implementation
- Hands-on experience with WMS, WCS, and PLC systems. Homegrown WMS experience is a plus.
- Strong project management experience, preferably agile practices
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Strong operational knowledge in Logistics / Supply Chain / 3PL Warehouse domain
- Experience with Savanna, SSI, Swisslog, and/ or other similar automation technologies
