DIRECTOR, APPLICATIONS ENGINEERING
Director of people, projects and process, driving results through inspired leadership and a focused and disciplined approach to product development that is consistent with best practices. He/she must be technically sound, provide clear vision and develop a team that is an outstanding resource to the organization. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills and leadership presence, the Director will proactively develop strong relationships across functions within the company.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years Director level experience
- 5-7 years technical experience
- Cloud experience (in AWS preferred)
- Object oriented design knowledge and skills
- budgetary responsibility (115+ employees multi million budget)
- must have performed planning and budget work
- fresh ideas & charisma
- Candidate who is right under CIO/VP, IT who is used to day-to-day interactions with executives
- only candidates who have grown up in Application Development
Desired Skills
- Software development company background/experience building software (preferably in Java stack)
- PMP certification
- Agile Development environment managed or led teams
