  Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee the IT operations and systems in our organization. You should have significant experience working for healthcare organizations and ideally supporting Dental/Orthodontics organizations.
You'll be responsible for managing IT vendors, consultants and employees within the IT department, liaising with other departments to ascertain their technology and systems requirements, and developing solutions that are aligned with our organization's objectives.
To be successful as an IT Manager, you should have an excellent technical aptitude, as well as superior project and people management skills. Ultimately, an outstanding IT Manager should maintain smooth, secure, and updated technical operations within an organization.

Responsibilities
•          Overseeing all IT operations infrastructure.
•          Overseeing all IT operational support as well as configuration and support for clinical application systems.
•          Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectives.
•          Conducting Status meetings and reporting to Senior Leadership on progress, accomplishments, constraints and issues.
•          Liaising with other departments to determine and address their IT needs and requirements.
•          Managing and supervising employees in the IT department.
•          Ensuring the maintenance of current projects and technology systems.
•          Identifying vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.
•          Proposing strategic solutions and recommending new systems and software.
•          Preparing financial budgets and performance reports.
•          Building and maintaining relationships with external advisors and vendors.
•          Ensuring reported issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Required Skills
•          A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.  A Master's Degree is preferred
•          At least 10 years of experience in an IT environment
•          At least 7 years of experience in a medical or clinical IT environment
•          At least 5 years of management experience in an IT environment
•          Experience in managing IT in a Healthcare Field, preferably Dental/Orthodontics
•          Expertise in HIPAA risk assessments and compliance programs
•          Experience in systems and network design and deployment for new practices and acquisitions
•          Equipment purchasing and onsite installation
•          Expertise in setup, testing and management of backup solutions for both local and cloud-based data systems
•          Experience with imaging software systems for xrays, 3D scans, etc.
•          Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, and software configuration/development.
•          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•          Strong leadership and project management skills
•          Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred System Skills:
•          Experience with Dentrix, Ascend, Cloud9, Orthotrac, Dolphin, OpenDental, Eaglesoft
