Senior RF Engineer (UAV Systems)
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Synigent is seeking a Senior RF Engineer for our client to help develop next-generation UAV communication systems, including telemetry, video transmission, antennas, and wireless networking technologies.

Synigent is seeking a Senior RF Engineer for our client to help develop next-generation UAV communication systems, including telemetry, video transmission, antennas, and wireless networking technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize RF communication systems for UAV platforms
- Perform RF modeling, simulation, testing, and validation
- Support antenna integration, telemetry, and wireless communications performance
- Troubleshoot RF, EMI/EMC, and signal integrity issues
- Collaborate with electrical, embedded, mechanical, and systems engineering teams
- 4+ years of RF, wireless communications, or telecommunications engineering experience
- Experience with RF design, testing, and validation
- Proficiency with tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, AWR, MATLAB, or similar
- Knowledge of antennas, microwave systems, EMC/EMI, and wireless communications
- UAV, aerospace, defense, satellite communications, or wireless networking experience preferred
