Job Description

Synigent is looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst for a client in Richmond, VA. This is a perpetual contract opportunity with 3 days per week on-site. Local candidates only!

Key requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on IT development projects.
  • Master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit requirements.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into detailed system specifications.
  • Ability to create process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and other relevant documentation.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in business modeling and analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucid Chart, or similar.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools and project management software.
  • Experience in presenting analysis findings and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • One or more certifications related to business analysis (CBAP, CCBA, etc...).
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in developing and executing test plans.
