Job Description
Synigent Technologies is looking for a SQL Programmer Analyst for a client near VA Beach, VA. This role is primarily remote and must be within driving distance to VA Beach for on-site meetings as required.
Position Summary:
- Work with stakeholders to analyze issues and processes, define requirements, design process improvements, and recommend automated solutions to solve business challenges.
- Manage end to end integration between various systems including Shop Floor, ERP, Ecommerce, EDI, Databases used for Business Intelligence, and others.
- Develop systems and processes to support successful deployment of Business Intelligence systems
- Coordinate with third parties and internal teams to solve business challenges using standard programming techniques.
- Understanding and experience with full application development life cycle
- Documents all system changes, prepares solution design document including detailed business process flows and key control points
- Support clients with urgent requests to analyze issues and work to resolve in a timely manner
- Support team and peers through collaborative coding, design sessions, and code review
- Exhibits resourcefulness ensuring deadlines and quality parameters are met, removing obstacles as necessary while raising problems or issues along with possible solutions to keep projects on track
Required Skills:
- B.S. Computer Science/MIS or related engineering discipline desired
- 5-7 years experience in SQL development with a focus on SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
- Experience w/ ETL processes & data warehousing
- Exposure to ERP systems (any)
- Understanding of SDLC life cycle
- Power BI
- JD Edwards
- Shopify
- Manufacturing background
- API Integration experience using Node.js, PowerShell or similar language is a plus
